MIS Training Institute is seeking speakers for The Forum on Information
Warfare, where top experts on cyber terrorism, critical infrastructure
protection, offensive and defensive information operations and
electronic warfare will gather. This cutting-edge conference will be
held in Washington DC, November 17 - 20, 2003.
If you are a good communicator and knowledgeable about information
warfare or homeland security strategies, we invite you to share your
expertise with hundreds of professionals from the government, military
and commercial security sector.
We particularly seek speakers and workshop leaders in the topics listed
below.
* Doctrine, policy or legislation relevant to government or commercial
Information Warfare
* New homeland security initiatives
* Threats and vulnerabilities
- Attacker profiling and identification
- Insider threats
- Threat analysis
- Vulnerabilities in commercial software
- Wireless threats and vulnerabilities
- Threats to transportation, medical, power, financial and other
critical sectors of the infrastructure
* Targets and Methods of Attack
- Network intrusions
- War gaming
- Navigation warfare
- Electronic warfare
- Psychological operations
- Deception
* Attack Detection and Response
- Detection methods
- Correlation and analysis of potential attacks
- Incident response
- Mission impact
- Forensic analysis
Provisions may be made for classified sessions.
If you have expertise on topics within these areas (or other areas you
would suggest), please submit your proposal to MIS Training Institute by
March 10. Your proposal should contain the following information:
- Presenter information (Name, Title, Organization, Address, Phone, Fax
and E-mail)
- A current resume or biography
- Title of your proposed session/s or workshop
- Audience target for the session/s or workshop
- Executive summary of presentation (80-100 words) including main
objective(s) and key points
Also, please note if your topic is most appropriately placed in a
classified forum.
